Our story is like an embedded narrative. We are part of a bigger project by the International Society of Krishna Consciousness that is owned and managed by ISKCON Wada – Govardhan Eco Village. It is built upon 100 acres of land located 100 km away from Mumbai.
Situated at the foothills of the Sahyadri mountain ranges, Govardhan Eco Village is an UN-recognized wellness retreat center bringing about transformation through the power of Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation.
This story has a lot of characters working in various roles. Some are in the forefront and some contributing in the backend. Around 200 community members are residing inside the premises including around 60 children. Our embedded narrative is about these children and their education.
Under the guidance of our most benevolent founder H. H. Radhanath Swami Maharaj, Govardhan English Medium Multi-level Homeschool came into being.
Our Mission
We aim to give a warm, welcoming, and engaging learning environment to our pupils so that they thrive materially as well as spiritually in the future. At Govardhan English Medium School, we try to develop God (Krishna) Consciousness and impart a strong sense of values that will give a rock-solid base to the kids and the ability to hold their strengths within this world as they grow up. Along with that, we strive to equip our students with the latest trends and innovations in the field of education creating a perfect blend of modern education and traditional way of learning.
